Knoxville Symphony Orchestra: January 18, 2019

On Friday evening, January 18, 2019, the Carson-Newman Honors Program will travel to the Tennessee Theater in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee to hear a performance of the Knoxville Symphony orchestra. The program includes Dvorak's famous New World Symphony, and the accessible Violin Concerto of Erich Wolfgang Korngold, one of the original American composers of music for popular film.

The concert begins at 7:30 PM. Those that want to find their own transportation should meet us at the Tennessee Theater at 7:15 PM. Those wanting to ride the van should be in the parking lot just north of the Henderson Building at 6:15 PM. Please note that only one van will be going to Knoxville - first come, first served.

Also, please note that only twenty tickets are available for this trip. After 5 PM on Wednesday, January 16, tickets will be made available to non-Honors students.
