On Sunday afternoon, February 17, 2019, members of the Carson-Newman Honors Program will travel to the University of Tennessee's Clarence Brown Theater to see Mike Bartlett's acclaimed play, King Charles III. After the play. we'll stick around for a special panel discussion on one of the major themes of the play, freedom of the press.
Afterwards, we'll find dinner somewhere close by, perhaps at Cookout, unless those present have a preference for something else.
Those wanting to ride the van should be in the parking lot next to Henderson Hall by 1 PM for the ride over to Clarence Brown; one van will be going, which will hold me plus ten students. Other students are invited to carpool to the event. We'll all meet in the lobby of the theater at 1:45 to divide up tickets and head to our seats.
Sign up below if you'd like to go! Sign-ups close Thursday, February 7 at 10 PM.
