The Carson-Newman AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows Program is a partnership between Carson-Newman University, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), and local community organizations in East Tennessee, the VISTA Fellows program works to address educational and economic disparities across the life course.
C-N VISTA Fellows commit to a twelve month term of service, with new terms beginning each May. Focused on addressing education injustice, C-N VISTA Fellows will address juvenile justice, youth development, economic opportunity, and much more through their term of service. Each VISTA is matched with a service site at an off-campus non-profit partner where they connect the resources of our campus and the community to further strengthen their work.
