(April 30, 2014)– Carson-Newman University recently recognized several members of its faculty with awards and recognitions. Honorees include the following:

Dr. Beth Vanlandingham, Research Award; Dr. Larry Osborne, Creativity Award; Dr. Kip Wheeler, Mentoring of Research or Creative Work Award; Drs. Christine Jones and Kara Stooksbury, co-recipients of the Mossy Creek Teacher-Scholars Award; and Dr. Julia Price, Academic Advising Award.  

Pictured are those receiving promotions or promotions with tenure: Kyle Biery associate professor of theatre and tenure; Blaine “Chip” Hall, assistant professor of communication; Dr. April Dye, associate professor of psychology with tenure; Dr. Carolyn Hacker, associate professor of psychology and tenure; and Dr. Christine Jones, associate professor of religion and tenure.
