Ruth Graham, daughter of Reverend Billy and Ruth Bell Graham, was among the special guests of a Carson-Newman Cooperative Management class networking luncheon Thursday, January 31. The event was held at C-N’s Duncan House management lab.

The meal was planned and prepared by students of Dr. Diana Carroll, who serves as professor of Family and Consumer Sciences and director of Duncan House.

Graham was on campus as the featured speaker of C-N’s annual Ashe-Henderson Lectures. Kay O’Brien, first lady of C-N, along with special guests of C-N’s Women of Vision Mary Brandes, along with her mother, Polly Tibbetts, both of St. Petersburg, Florida, as well as Brandes’ sister, Donna Hooker of Louisville, Tennessee, also attended the luncheon.

Duncan Hall is a two-story, ten-room, 1920’s-era home on the north side of C-N’s campus. The facility serves as a model of re-adaptive, sustainable, and energy efficient housing thanks to a series of grants from the Fasola Foundation, Inc.
