• Professors, faculty members and staff all challenged me in many ways. Every time I think of C-N, I am reminded of how blessed I was to attend an amazing school.

(June 23, 2016) – Carson-Newman University's Women of Vision (WOV) organization will hold its annual Back to the Creek Weekend July 9. Registration deadline is Friday, July 1.

WOV guests have several options for fun, fellowship and campus service projects.

In what has become the event's highlight, the annual weekend restoration project on Saturday will focus on the University's Campus Ministries House and Safety and Security Office.

In its fifth year, WOV is a philanthropic organization that seeks to enhance areas of the University benefiting students and the college experience. Members have significantly impacted campus through projects and initiatives in a relatively short time. The group not only raises money for various initiatives, but also volunteers time to help with their completion. Campus enhancements have included renovations of the University's Appalachian Cultural Center, the lobby of Dougherty Science Center, and the addition of a Fireside Reading Room in the University’s library.

All events are casual dress and work clothes for Saturday.
