It’s just been this beautiful experience of recognizing the importance of not only physical health, but mental health, emotional health and spiritual health and how they all interconnect with one another. If you’re thinking about going to see Counseling Services, I really encourage it.Jaime
University welcomes three to board of trustees
(Jan. 28, 2016) – Carson-Newman University recently welcomed three new members to its board of trustees. They began their service in January.
"We often say that a university can be no stronger than its faculty," said Carson-Newman President J. Randall O’Brien. "But it's also important to have a strong Board of Trustees, as well. These three new members are proven leaders in their work, and in service to others. These are qualities Carson-Newman holds dear, driving us to success in our mission."
New Carson-Newman University Board of Trustees members include:
• Bob Gay II, Greeneville, Edward Jones financial advisor, 1972 Carson-Newman alumnus
• Dr. H. Dean Haun, Morristown, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Morristown
• Gary William Page, Charlotte, North Carolina, entrepreneur, owner and president of Helium & Balloons Across America, 1969 Carson-Newman alumnus
The three new members bring the total number of trustees to 29 serving the interests of Carson-Newman University.
