Mary Baldridge

Chair of Philosophy, Linguistics, and World Languages & Professor of Foreign Languages

Dr. Mary Baldridge is an Associate Professor of Foreign Languages and teach Spanish, literature, and culture courses. She received her BA in Spanish from Berea College, her MS in Communications from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and her MA and PhD in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a specialization in Medieval Women’s Literature. Her current research interests include medieval women and religion. She is presently working on a book about four medieval Spanish women and conventual religious literature.
