Bobby Stoffle

Assistant Professor of Accounting

Professor Stoffle is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned both Bachelor of Science – Business Administration (Accounting) and Master of Accountancy (Tax Concentration) degree from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.

He joined the faculty of Carson-Newman as an Assistant Accounting Professor in January 2025, after a decades long professional career in both public accounting, primarily as a tax principal, and in community banking, including in CFO, CEO, and Board positions. He also provides tax and benefit plan consulting through a “Top 100” regional CAP firm, sits on a private Christian school board of trustees, serves on the TSCPA Financial Institutions Committee and is a member of Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) Honor Society.

Professor Stoffle is a USAF veteran and serves in a variety of leadership positions on community, church and non-profit boards and committees. He and his, Pamela, especially enjoy spending time with their three children and seven grandchildren in Seymour.
