Dr. Dye is a social psychologist with special concentration in women’ s studies. She teaches in the areas of social psychology, personality and psychology of gender. Her research interest is in stereotyping, stigma, and identity development in regard to gender and Appalachian populations. Dr. Dye serves as Chair of the Psychology Department and Honors Program Director. In her free time, you often find her at the ice-skating rink with her synchronized skating team or teaching children to skate.
