Talent Acquisition/ Recruiting intern

The primary function of the Recruitment department is to hire safe and productive drivers. The primary goal is to ensure strong qualified applicants are chosen and meet Fraley and Schilling Hiring requirements, while upholding the Safety Culture of the organization. This position will work with multiple different departments such as HR, Recruiting, Operations, and Maintenance.

Preferred Availability:

Fraley and Schilling is looking for an intern available Monday through Friday. Hours can vary.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Hiring Manager in cold contacting prospects in an effort to seek out qualified hires at a consistently high volume every day
Provide applicants with accurate and specific F&S information about each respective position
Assist in interviewing, gathering, and analyzing all reports to determine if applicants meet F&S hiring requirements
Create and revise recruitment standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
Assist in the retention of current company professional drivers
Conduct 2nd and 3rd attempt calls for received applications
Work with the Onboarding team to contact and confirm scheduled candidates for upcoming orientation and onboarding
Perform wellness checks on current drivers
Other duties and projects as assigned
