Director of Schools

The Dickson County Board of Education is seeking a visionary leader that is highly qualified and has significant experience as its next Director of Schools. The person chosen by the Board will assume the role on February 1, 2024.

Job Summary & Qualifications:
A master’s degree in education; five (5) years of successful experience which may consist of five (5) years as a school/district administrator or three (3) years as a school/district administrator and two (2) years as a teacher; and an active teacher or administrator

Qualified candidates wishing to be considered for this position must submit online the following items to the Tennessee School Boards Association by December 15, 2023:

3. A copy of all educational certifications and licenses
