Audit Internships: (January- May) Learns and completes audit procedures according to guidelines and firm proceduresAssesses compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial accounts, fixed assets and inventories, payrolls or cash accounts, grant program costs, records, reports, operating practices, documentation, and related instrumentsVerifies information by comparing and analyzing items to documentationCompletes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findingsCommunicates audit progress and findings to coaches and managersStudies and complies with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirementsContributes to team effort by accomplishing assignments as needed Qualifications: A genuinely nice person with a strong work ethicKeen interest in a career in public accountingCurrent accounting majorPersonally and academically motivatedDistinguished in the classroom, on campus, and in the communityPrepared to submit the following:o Current resumeo Unofficial transcript (PDF/Word document with screen shots acceptable)
