Carson-Newman Congratulates U.S. Olympians

Carson-Newman University will debut a 30-second commercial on Sunday, Feb. 9, during the Olympics in Sochi. The spot will air 12 times on Knoxville NBC affiliate, WBIR- Channel 10. It spotlights the University while also giving a nod to the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team.

“I loved including in this spot our students and two Olympians who are part of the Carson-Newman family,” says Mary Leidig, executive director of University Relations. “It is a great privilege to work with our team and those Carson-Newman stars who are part of this. Turn up your sound, watch and feel pride in this very fine institution. It’s our faculty, staff, students and alumni who make this story real and life affirming.”
