Welcome to Health Services
The Health Services staff welcomes you to Carson-Newman! One of the best ways to be successful in college is to be healthy. We are here to help you improve your health as well as to treat illnesses that may occur. The health clinic director, a registered nurse (RN), oversees the health clinic and works closely with a family nurse practitioner (FNP) to provide daily convenient appointments or telephone triage services. The health clinic medical director (MD) is available to the RN and FNP for consultation and has clinic hours one day a week for student visits. There is no cost for visits with the RN, FNP, or MD. Diagnostic studies and medications needed will be paid for by the student.
You may call Health Services for an appointment at (865) 471-3350. We are located at 1611 Russell Ave (Across from the First Baptist Church; besides Burnett Hall)
