Recreational Services Trips – Spring 2020
The Recreational Services Council has three trips planned for students this Spring! This is your personal invitation from the council members: Corbin Hedges, Tristan MacDonald, Michael Sobiech, and Spenser Smith to join the fun! Final registration for all trips is in the Rec. Services Office - MSAC room 1014 along with payment as required per trip. On-line pre-registration is available below.
Zoo Knoxville – Saturday, February 1 – 9:30am - 4:00pm, Knoxville
Learn and see animals from around the globe right in our ‘backyard’ at the Knoxville Zoo. See how zookeepers and conservationists have brough habitats near and far and put them all in one place so that others might learn from them. See how Zoo Knoxville works with conservation agencies to save endangered species and help animals in need. You will also meet the baby giraffe, Bea, who was born at the zoo in July 2019. There will also be opportunities (at extra cost) to get up close and personal with the animals through feedings and rides. Regular Price = $20. Your cost is $10.
865 Axe Throwing - Saturday, March 21 – 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm, Knoxville
This wild and fun craze has made its way to Knoxville! Come experience the first outdoor axe-throwing venue in the area and see what the buzz is about. If axes aren’t your thing, we also have lawn games, firepits and plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of East Tennessee. Feel free to bring your own food or purchase some from our Snack Bar. Regular Price = $24, Your cost is $12.
Ripley Aquarium +2 other Ripley Attractions Saturday, April 12 – 9:30am – 6:00pm, Gatlinburg
Visit beautiful Gatlinburg, TN nested right at the bottom of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Take in the local favorite Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. After you have the choice to visit 2 other Ripley’s attractions right on the Parkway. These include:Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Haunted Adventure, 5D Moving Theater, Mirror Maze, Mini Golf (18 Holes, and Guinness World Records Attraction. It is your choice what to see that interests you. Regular price = $40. Your cost is $20.
You may pre-register for trips below. Registration is only complete when you confirm your trip(s) and pay in the Recreational Services Office, MSAC Room 1014. ** TO GO ON THE TRIP YOU MUST HAVE PAID FOR IT BY 3 PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE TRIP **
