Our mission is to cultivate relationships, motivate students, and build a strong holistic foundation in order to ease the transition between high school and college.
The Bridge Program is a residential 3 week program designed to help incoming freshmen transition to college life at Carson-Newman. While in the program, students will take a 3 credit combined math and english class, while also participating in team building activities, volunteering in the community, working on campus, and taking fun day trips in the region. Students will live in the residential halls and get first hand experience of what it's like to live on campus.
While COVID-19 has created complications, we are still planning an in-person program for summer 2021. Plans are still being developed to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. Please reach out to the department of FYCS or your admissions counselor for more information about Bridge.
