Please be advised that both the U. S. Department of Education Annual Crime Report, (AKA as the Clery Amendment), for the calendar year 2016, may be reviewed on the University’s website. The report also includes the crime data for 2015 and 2014 as mandated by law. Also included is the DOE’s 2016 the University’s on-campus residential facilities as well as the annual fire safety report depicting that there were no fires at the University during that time. Other information as to pertaining to/regarding the security programs, emergency protocol, etc., may also be reviewed in the security guide or student handbook.
The information contained in the Annual Crime Report includes selected criminal offenses (,Murder/Non-negligent manslaughter, Negligent manslaughter, Sex offenses – Forcible, Rape, Fondling, Sex offenses - Non-forcible, Incest, Statutory rape, Robbery, Aggravated assault, Burglary, Motor vehicle theft, Arson) Hate Crimes, VAWA Offences, Arrests, Disciplinary Actions, Unfounded Crimes and Fire Statistics.
The crime data for both the DOE and the TBI may also be reviewed in the Department of Public Safety (On-Line ) or on our web site. Our office is located at 2209 Branner Ave., directly at the rear of the campus cafeteria. The office phone number is 471-3559. If a paper Copy of the Report is requested it will be printed and provided free of charge.
Bear in mind that criminal data is always complied by both state and federal agencies for the past calendar year and not the current year!
