The Office of Marketing & Communications promotes the mission and identity of Carson-Newman University through a variety of print and online publications and initiatives for students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and the public.
The office manages media events and coverage and serves the greater community as the first source of information about the university. Marketing Communications includes print and digital versions of its university magazine - Journey, Carson-Newman in the News E-communications and our robust social media platforms. Additionally, the office manages all marketing, advancement, enrollment and event materials, video storytelling and a variety of web content.
We work across campus with all departments to help meet marketing goals and assist university employees with the design of Carson-Newman websites. The office also creates and manages its growing library of stories through video on its Carson-Newman YouTube channel.
We also work to build external relationships, schedule speaking engagements, sponsorships and partnerships that promote teaching, faculty and student achievement, enrollment growth, institutional branding and public service at Carson-Newman.
