SNAP PROCTOR (P.M)

Department: Student Success Center.

Reports to: Gloria Walker, Co-Director of Student Success.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (hourly)

Time Requirements: 20 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday

Summary Description: Manage evening sessions of study hall for student-athletes.

Functional Description:

  • Manages the evening sessions of SNAP.
  • Responsible for logging student-athletes in and out of study hall using the Study Hall Tracker system.
  • Responsible for updating student-athlete study hall hours when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise student workers assigned to SNAP.

Education: High school diploma required.

Experience: Experience in an educational setting preferred.

Required Skills: Experience with Word and Excel. Familiarity with standard IT-related office functions. Ability to work efficiently and effectively during high-volume periods. Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities. Professionalism in all tasks including internal and external communication. Ability to problem solve with student-athletes. Ability to collaborate with colleagues on SNAP-related matters.

Physical demands: Must be able to assist with the organization of the SNAP classroom to accommodate SNAP sessions. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the SNAP sessions.
