Part-Time Administrative Assistant

PART TIME - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT  - MUSIC LIBRARY

The part-time administrative assistant helps manage the daily operations of the Music Library. He or she is responsible for checking-out scores to students and faculty and answering any questions they may have regarding library materials. The individual also helps students if they need assistance locating a particular score. In addition, the part-time administrative assistant maintains the Music Library reserves for faculty members and makes sure the materials are available as needed. As new library items are acquired, he or she will process them and enter their information into the digital library catalog. Throughout the semester, the individual will also keep track of the daily dues, which is a list of students who owe late fees to the Music Library. Furthermore, the part-time administrative assistant helps with a variety of other tasks as needed by the Music Department. This may include running errands around campus, making copies, entering data on a computer, and assisting in the Music Department office.
