ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NURSING

Carson-Newman University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor position in the Nursing Department. The position is a Full-time, 9 month, tenure-track position to begin in August, 2018.
Candidates for the position must have a BSN and MSN with doctorate preferred, be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of TN, have at least 2 years clinical experience with academic teaching experience preferred.
Carson-Newman employs faculty and staff who are actively supportive, through a local church, of its aim as a university with a Christian commitment.
Candidates for the position of Assistant Professor serve as a teacher and advisor for undergraduate students; develop, implement and evaluate undergraduate courses; participate in departmental and university events and committees; and, participate in professional activities including scholarly work and professional organizations.
