Scheduled Disbursement Dates 2020-2021
The Office of Financial Aid disburses your financial aid to the Student Accounts Office on the following dates listed below after all required paperwork is complete. Paperwork not completed before the scheduled date of disbursement will result in a delay. Disbursements outside of the following schedule will only be processed on Thursday of each week. The Office of Financial Aid will send you an email when loans are posted to your account. If an email address is not available, the notice will be sent via mail. This allows you another opportunity to reduce or reject the loan within 14 days.
Credit Balance Refunds
When financial aid disbursement(s) create a credit balance refund, the Office of Student Accounts will issue the refund check within 14 calendar days of the disbursement date as reflected on the student's statement of account. All students will be sent a notice from Student Accounts and may pick up checks with a valid photo ID at the Student Accounts window in the Fite Administration Building during regular business hours or request the check to be mailed by responding to the notice. Parent borrowers of the Parent PLUS loan will be sent their disbursement notice via mail and automatically have their check mailed to their address on file. As of Fall 2020, a student may not pick up a refund from a Parent PLUS Loan.
