In addition to our outstanding music ensembles, you may also choose to participate in musicals and operas on campus. To further your professional training, you can attend regional workshops, auditions and competitions.
Did You Know?
In recent years, Carson-Newman ensembles have performed with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, the Knoxville Choral Society and in concert tours throughout the United States and across the globe, including a Christmas Eve performance in Bethlehem, Israel.

You'll be Ready
Music majors at Carson-Newman have opportunities to perform in a variety of musical ensembles. Voice ensembles include: A Cappella Choir, Men's Chorus, Oratorio Chorus, Women Singers, Lyric Theatre and Redemption. Instrumental ensembles include: Symphonic Winds, Jazz Band and small group ensembles for piano, brass, woodwinds and percussion.
