The Human Exceptionalities degree program truly widened my view on the education system and the best ways to serve students that are differently-abled. My professors were willing to go above and beyond to make sure that I was prepared to continue and obtain my master’s degree. As a second year OT student, I am able to have a different viewpoint and see my clients from multiple perspectives due to my Human Exceptionalities degree.
Students in the non-licensure Human Exceptionalities program take many of the same courses as students in the licensure programs and have the opportunity to complete practicum experiences in schools and gain firsthand experience working with differently-abled individuals.
