The Executive Director of Marketing will mastermind marketing efforts of the College of Professional Studies (CPS). Reporting to the Dean of the CPS and working in coordination with university marketing leadership, the Executive Director will be a vital voice within the college, supplying high-level vision and strategic leadership in these areas that will position the college for growth and student success. The Executive Director will also serve on the college’s leadership team, be a highly visible influence on the CPS’s marketing, product, services, and growth.
The Executive Director will lead and manage all aspects of CPS marketing efforts and be a vital partner for the college’s enrollment management practices and processes. This role will be responsible for strategic brand management, creation, direction, and coordination of the college’s overall marketing plan, strategies, and design. This position also collaborates regularly with the Executive Director of Enrollment Management for CPS, helping to ensure the most effective communication practices and processes are being used to achieve effective student admission, orientation, start, and retention. The Director of Admissions Operations in the College of Professional Studies (CPS) will be responsible for the execution of key admissions processes and will collaborate with campus partners. The Assistant Director will manage credit evaluation processes and execute transfer credit policy enforcement for the CPS. The Director of Admissions Operations will coordinate admission applications to be reviewed and coordinate with various departments, faculty, and staff to foster timely admission decisions. This position will oversee Slate and other related CRM functions and processes, monitoring applications, coordinating with partners to ensure effective communications with prospective students, managing various reports and data requests, and proactively working on enhancing enrollment operations across multiple constituents. As part of an online team in the new College of Professional Studies, the Multimedia and Technology Specialist utilizes their expertise in multimedia and technology to enhance the Carson-Newman educational experience. The Multimedia and Technology Specialist serves as an integral team member of the online learning team in the CPS that is engaged in learning design, learning multimedia, learning technology & support for a growing portfolio of innovative programs. The individual in this position brings to it both an expertise in and an innovative passion for the educational application of media and technology.
