Faith and Learning Questions

In the World Languages department, faculty and students explore questions that integrate their Christian faith with their course content. For example,

  • Given the Great Commission and the Biblical mandate to “welcome the stranger,” what is our duty as Christians when it comes to learning other languages and cultures?
  • Which aspects of American Christianity are central to our faith, and which are purely cultural, changing from country to country?
  • How might Christians in other countries view American Christianity?
