Production (four required courses)

  •  Introduction to Digital Media
  • Video Production
  • Advanced Production
  • Digital Storytelling

 

Film and Society (select at least two courses from the following list)

  • Media, Religion, and Ministry
  • Media in a Changing World
  • Media Law and Ethics
  • History and Film
  • Psychology and Film
  • Religion and Film
  • Sociology and Film
 

World Cinema (a required course emphasizing film from outside the United States)

 Senior Project in Film (a required course during the senior year)

 

*Film Majors also will often take additional electives related to filmmaking including courses in photography, acting and directing, graphic design, music, business, and film internships. 

 

*Course available through the Los Angeles Film Studies Center include: 

  • Hollywood Production Workshop
  • Faith and Artistic Development in Film
  • Narrative Storytelling
  • Professional Screenwriting
  • Professional Acting for the Camera

(Special application and additional tuition is required for the LAFSC program.)
