Rachel (Lowe) Long and Jacob Long
Jacob and Rachel met as Art & Photography majors here at Carson-Newman, and got married to each other soon after graduating. Jay Kelly, Director and Founder, Jay Kelly Interactive, LLC. Jay graduated from Carson-Newman College in 1998 where he majored in Art and Communication Arts. He has held positions working as a Graphic Designer in print and advertising, as Creative Director of two interactive media companies and founded Jay Kelly Interactive (JKI) in 2006. Over the course of his career, Jay has served clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, large health care systems, not-for profit groups and many others in a wide array of industries and endeavors. Tennessee native (and all-around fun guy) Chris McAdoo has been successful in several different artistic venues since he earned his BA in Art from Carson-Newman. Chris has made and sold illustrations, letterpress prints and designs, graphic design, fine art paintings, and fine art drawings from his home and studio in Knoxville. Erin Elizabeth Ganey
Erin Ganey was a double major (Photography and Communication) at Carson-Newman, and graduated in 2003. She temporarily moved to England, to earn her MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster, in London. After that she taught Photography as a part-time instructor at Carson-Newman for one year, then went to Tallahassee to earn her MFA (in Studio Art) from Florida State University. Jan Bridwell Walker
After Jan (Bridwell) Walker graduated from CNC with a BA in Art, she did her graduate work at nearby East Tennessee State University. She is now an art professor and the Art Dept Chairperson at Erskine College, in South Carolina. She is active as a painter, graphic designer, wife & mother, and marathon runner. Jym Davis is an artist who uses a wide variety of media to express his many ideas. Jym graduated from Carson-Newman in 1999, and soon after earned his MFA from UNC-Greensboro. He is now an art professor at Reinhardt College in Georgia, where he started the school's first Digital Art program.
