Early Registration Information for Fall 2011 Semester

Early Registration for the Fall 2011 semester begins on April 4, 2011. Students will be assigned a registration day and time based on the total number of hours earned. Students with the highest number of hours earned will be given registration time priority. Registration times will be assigned by March 28th and can be viewed on the student’s C-N Connect account.

Students should make an appointment to meet with their adviser prior to their registration time. Sign-up sheets for advising appointments will be posted on the adviser’s door by March 14th. Students must be approved by their adviser to register.

Registration times will be assigned by classification according to the follow schedule:

Graduate Students........................................................................................... April 4, 2011
Seniors (students with earned hours of 96 and above) ................................... April 4, 2011
Juniors (students with earned hours of 64-95) ................................................ April 5, 2011
Sophomores (students with earned hours of 32-63)........................................ April 6, 2011
Freshmen (students with earned hours of 0-31) .......................................... April 7-8, 2011

Registration: there are three ways to register:

Self-register via C-N Connect on or after the assigned registration time. (There are demonstrations available on the C-N Connect website for the self-registration process.) Register by a Faculty adviser in faculty offices on or after the assigned registration time, orRegister in the Registrar’s Office with an adviser approved and signed schedule on or after the assigned registration time. The Registrar’s staff will be available for registration between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. M-F.

If a student does not register for Fall classes during the spring term, registration will be available through the registration period in August.

Important Note: Once the schedule is registered in C-N Connect charges have been incurred. If the student does not plan to return for the fall semester, the student must contact the Registrar’s Office prior to the first day of class to cancel their class schedule and their charges.

Questions regarding registration may be directed to the Registrar’s Office. Students who cannot log into C-N Connect, should contact connect@cn.edu. The Registrar’s Office should be notified of any change of local and/or permanent address, marital status, etc. Students wishing to change adviser or major should contact the Life Directions Center.
