Customer Service Representative/ Inside Sales

Landair Transport, Inc. is a strong privately held company serving the transactional and dedicated transportation markets as well as brokerage and a wide range of logistics services. We are seeking a persuasive and diligent Customer Service Representative who will answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses. You will make outbound calls and handle inbound calls to existing customers and prospects striving to build relationships as well as introduce and promote our products.

Job Responsibilities

Creating, developing and retaining business relationships with our customersManaging account relationships as the primary point-of-contact for day-to-day needs, including ongoing communications, coordination of customer’s needs, billing, collections and other activitiesLeading Sales efforts via cold calling, gathering sales intelligence and ability to handle objections


The Inside Sales Representative requirements include:

Inside sales or customer service experience in a business-to-business environmentSelf-motivated, goal oriented, and dependableIndividual has excellent telephone and written communication skillsProficient negotiation and problem solving skills are a mustStrong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyThe ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of enthusiasm, professionalism and motivation

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics, transportation, or businessA minimum of 1 year equivalent business development and sales experience
