Broadcast IT Systems Specialist

Details:
Needed to provide primary computer support to station, including all newsroom computer workstations, peripherals, computer networks and servers. Will work with News, Production and Promotions staff to ensure quality in audio and video in all productions. Will be responsible for newsroom software and system maintenance, maintenance of all station computer equipment and troubleshooting and equipment repair.

Experience:
This is not an entry-level job. A two-year tech degree/cert (or equivalent experience), plus at least two years solid experience maintaining television broadcast and I.T. systems is required.
Prefer someone with experience maintaining workstations, servers, and network infrastructure in a broadcast environment. Person needs to be a self-starter and manage multiple priorities. Experience with iNews and Avid editing systems would be a plus, as we are about to implement an entirely new system.

Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation capable of driving in all weather conditions. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a working telephone number, as position is on-call as needed.
