SALARY RANGE: $42,000 - $55,000

The Tennessee Valley Authority is a federally owned corporation and the nation’s largest public power company. As a regional development agency, TVA supplies affordable power, manages the nation’s fifth largest river system, and stimulates sustainable economic development. The Office of the Inspector General is an independent arm of TVA with the mission of preventing and detecting fraud, waste, and abuse. To carry out our role we have a staff of dedicated audit and investigative professionals.

Our audit staff can review any aspect of TVA’s business including business partners, suppliers and contractors. The staff conducts pre-award contract, contract compliance, financial-related, information technology, distributor, and performance/operational audits or reviews.

Anyone hired as an entry level auditor will participate in our Auditor Career Track (ACT) program. This two-phased program includes formal classroom training, hands-on training, rotational assignments, mentoring, and pay adjustments at the successful completion of each phase.
