    Courtney is a graduate of Jefferson County High School and is also a graduate from Carson-Newman with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Criminology.

    Before working in the ITS department, Courtney was working at Southern Belle Signs, her own business that she has had since she was sixteen. After graduating, she decided to pursue her dreams and degree and has started to work at the Help Desk.

    Outside of Carson-Newman, she enjoys being outdoors (fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc.) and fall is her favorite time of year because of bonfires, lighting the fireplace, and haunted corn mazes. She is also an animal lover and is always tempted to take all of the strays home.

    Kevin is a native of Jefferson City, graduate of Jefferson County High School and received his degree in Computer Science in 1988. He has been with the Carson-Newman Information Technology Department since 2002.

    Prior to coming to Carson-Newman, Kevin spent 8 years at Jenzabar as a technical analyst, consultant, instructor, programmer and implementation manager. Before Jenzabar, he spent 5 years as the I.T. Systems Administrator at a credit union in Knoxville.

    He loves to spend time with his wife, three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf and is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

  • Connie Kenyon

    Connie has been involved with higher education administrative software since 1979. As a software specialist in a previous role, she installed, trained, supported and modified proprietary software to meet the needs of the company’s clients.

    Since coming to Carson-Newman College in 1999, she has been a programmer/analyst in the Information Technology Department. Currently working with the Ellucian Colleague Enterprise System software she provides training, testing, troubleshooting, and support for the administrative offices.

    Connie and her husband live in Powell, TN, and have two grown children who both graduated from Carson-Newman. They also have a three year old grandson who keeps them busy during their spare time.

  • Nathan Miles

    Nathan has worked in Carson-Newman Information Technology since 1995. Over the last 18 years, he has functioned in various roles, heading up Network Administration, PC Administration, and most recently, filling the role of Systems Analyst / Programmer in our Administrative Software group (which is now officially known as C-N Enterprise Applications). When not working, he loves hiking, music, and spending time with his family.

    Ande is a native of Morristown, TN.

    He has 30 years’ experience in higher education in the field of information technology.

    When he is not working, he enjoys family life with his wife and son. For recreation he enjoys fishing, kayaking, camping and hiking. He also enjoys singing and teaching children/youth in Sunday school.

    Ande and his family live in Talbott, TN.

    He is very happy to be part of the Carson-Newman family.

  • Aaron Taylor

    Originally from Asheville, NC, Aaron has lived in Tennessee since 1998. He considers Morristown to be his hometown since he has lived there most of his life, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He grew up hunting, fishing and camping which eventually evolved into him joining the Boy scouts when his family moved to Morristown. He was a member of the Scouts since second grade and received his Eagle Scout award in 2008, after which he went on to receive three Eagle palms before he reached the age of 18. Once he had aged out of the scouts he became a junior assistant scout master and eventually a full-fledged scout master after his 21st birthday.

    He is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Information Technology at the Tennessee Technology Center in Morristown and attends Central Baptist Church of Morristown. He spends most of his time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing and camping. He loves to be outside and on the lake whenever he can. He has had several people tell him they would have “never seen him as a computer guy growing up,” but working with computers seems to just come naturally.

    Originally from Tennessee, David has lived here most of his life. He graduated from Carson-Newman in 2001 (BS) and 2012 (MBA).

    Working at Carson-Newman for 11 years as an employee, his most recent job is that of Director of Information Technology and Network and Systems Administrator.  He thinks of himself as "A computer guy."

    Outside of work he enjoys family life with his wife and two children.  For recreation he plays golf and basketball.  In the past played Tennis on the college team and wrestled in high school.

    Josh is a graduate of Jefferson County High school and received a degree in Computer Science from Walters State in 2010, and a degree in Computer Information Systems from Carson-Newman in 2013. He is an animal lover and a nature enthusiast due to his time spent hiking the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with his parents as a child. He also enjoys cooking and would someday like to travel the world to sample global cuisine. In his spare time, he likes to read, play video games, and care for his cats.

  • Titus Whitelaw

    Born at a young age in the far away, exotic, swampy land of Inverness, FL, Titus moved to East Tennessee in 2002. Growing up as a small child, Titus envisioned himself becoming an astronaut/firefighter/crocodile hunter/space marine, but eventually he decided on pursuing a career in computers. Titus received an associate’s degree in Computer Science from Walter’s State and is currently furthering his certifications and computer skills at the Tennessee Technology Center in Morristown, TN.

    Being a rather laid back and sarcastic individual, Titus spends his free time playing video games, solving puzzles, taking things apart, and attempting to put them back together, and overeating.

    Interesting facts about Titus: He is left handed, and he can solve a Rubik’s cube in around 30 seconds
