EagleNet is Carson-Newman's Intranet document and information sharing portal.  EagleNet is built on Microsoft Sharepoint technology which is used by universities and businesses world-wide.

EagleNet Quick Guide

Only current students and employees may access EagleNet. To log in use your Carson-Newman network email address and password. 

There are four main sites on EagleNet: 

  • EagleNet Student Resources: Information and Documents for Students
  • Faculty & Staff Resources:  Information and Documents for Faculty & Staff
  • Academic Sites:  EagleNet sites developed by academic offices
  • Administrative Offices:  Access to Administrative Office Information.

EagleNet documents are accessable only if your are assigned access to that particular section and/or document. Faculty and Staff may post to the daily announcement boards for students, faculty or staff.  These posts are then sent as summaries to the designated group's email between 3 and 4 p.m. daily.

Important Notes Regarding EagleNet

You cannot opt out of daily announcements from EagleNet. These announcements are
provided for your benefit and safety and should be reviewed regularly. ALL information technology
policies MUST be adhered to when posting/replying on EagleNet.

Daily Announcements are summaries only. Log in to EagleNet for the complete announcement posting.When replying to a post/announcement on EagleNet, be sure that you are replying to the
poster. This can be done by clicking on the name next to Created By: at the bottom of the post. (You will need to actually log in to EagleNet to access the full announcement). Otherwise, your
response will not be received. DO NOT email or contact EagleNet Support in response to a post or announcement.
