Current alerts are outages (scheduled or emergency events that are affecting Carson-Newman network services now.

All Systems "Normal"

Scheduled Maintenance

Normal maintenance or upgrades to production services. Normally these events are scheduled at least one week in advance and performed during off-peak usage hours.

IT has weekly maintenance for routine and preventative maintenance Friday morning 2am to 6am. During this time each week some systems may become unavailable but downtime should in most cases be limited.

Emergency Maintenance

Emergency maintenance is performed without advance notice.  Events which would affect a large number of users in a critical manner would be cause to enact these procedures.

No Emergency Maintenance

 Recent Activity

12/06/2012: 9:30 p.m.  C-N Online/Edvance360 Discussion Posts unavailable.  Problem solved overnight - available again at 6:25 a.m. 12/07/2012.
11/26/2012:  12:00 noon - 3:26.  Sluggish response time - C-N Online/Edvance360.  Problem resolved.
9/13/2012 & 9/14/2012:  C-N Online/Edvance360 experienced two short 30 minute network outages each day about 3:00 p.m.
8/23/2012:  Off-campus network was down approximately 20 minutes.
