Twin Pillars Awards 2015
The Honors Program and the Bonner Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement, with the collaboration of Academic Affairs and c-nvolved, are hosting the third annual Twin Pillars Banquet. This event will bring together outstanding students from our Honors program, Bonner program, various academic and service honor societies, and other high achieving students and the faculty who support them, to celebrate the accomplishments of each academic year.
This year’s Twin Pillars Banquet will honor C-N faculty, students, staff, and community partners who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the areas of academics and service. We seek your assistance in nominating senior level students, fellow faculty members, and community engagement projects for recognition at the Twin Pillars Banquet. For more information about each award and to nominate others, read below and click on the appropriate link. All nominations are due by Friday, March 6, 2015.
The Twin Pillars Student Award will be conferred annually to 3-7 graduating seniors who exemplify excellence in service and academics.
The Twin Pillars Community Engagement Award is for outstanding community engagement in the classroom. This award honors a group of faculty, staff, students, and/or community partner representatives for their collaborative effort to use academic knowledge to effect positive change in the community.
The Twin Pillars Faculty Award for Service-Learning goes to an outstanding faculty member who best embodies service-learning and creates meaningful service-learning experiences for his or her students in the classroom.
