The Bonner Center places 15-20 students in Community Service Federal Work Study positions each year, known as Service Corps. If you qualify for Federal Work Study and you would like to be considered for a paid Community Service position, you must first apply with the Office of Financial Assistance and then email Anya Piotrowski (apiotrowski@cn.edu), the Bonner Center's Community Development Coordinator, for more information about our opportunities.

Current Service Corps placement sites:

Bonner Center, on-campus but working with community partners

Boys & Girls Clubs of Dumplin Valley, a branch of the national Boys & Girls Club

Habitat for Humanity, students work in the ReStore (a thrift store)

Jefferson Middle School, working in the classrooms to assist teachers and students

Journey Program, a program run out of the Jefferson County Juvenile court
