Logistics, Lodging, & Dining

Logistics for the Summit:

  • Registration begins at 8:00am in the entryway to the small cafeteria within Stokely Cafeteria (2205 Branner Ave.)

  • Parking will be available in the Maddox Student Activities Center (MSAC, 2130 Branner Ave.) parking lot across from Stokely Cafeteria.

  • Attendees may park in any available, marked parking space in front of, or around, the MSAC.

  • Coffee, tea, water, and breakfast breads will be available throughout the morning. Please note beverages and food are not allowed in the classrooms.

  • Sessions 1 and 2 workshop options will take place in Stokely Cafeteria and Henderson Humanities building room 432 (1640 Russell Ave.). Henderson Humanities building is about a block away from Stokely Cafeteria and attendees may follow volunteers over to the building for ease of getting from one place to another. We will also provide campus maps.

  • After Session 2 everyone will meet back in Stokely Cafeteria for a plenary over lunch, Open Space throughout the afternoon, followed by a closing discussion and reflection.

  • We will end at 4:00pm.

Lodging in the Area:

We recommend staying in Morristown or Dandridge, for convenience purposes. Both towns are nearby and just a short drive from campus.
