C-N VISTA Fellows


The Carson-Newman AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows Program is a partnership between Carson-Newman University, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), and local community organizations in East Tennessee, the VISTA Fellows program works to address educational and economic disparities across the life course.

C-N VISTA Fellows commit to a twelve month term of service, beginning in May 2015. Focused on addressing education injustice, C-N VISTA Fellows will address juvenile justice, youth development, adult education, and much more through their term of service. Each VISTA is matched with a service site at an off-campus non-profit partner where they connect the resources of our campus and the community to further strengthen their work.  Interested candidates can apply online at or contact Anya Piotrowski, the Center's Community Development Coordinator,( for more information.

$11,136 living stipend

$5,550 Segal Education Award or $1,500 Stipend at End of Service
