Dean’s List

At the end of each fall and spring term, the Academic Affairs Office produces the Dean’s List. Those who earn a 3.5 or higher GPA (on a 4.0 scale) are given the honor, which includes a letter of congratulations, invitation to a special reception cosponsored by Provost Kina Mallard and Alpha Chi Honor Society, and public announcement through the College Communications Office.

The Communications Office uses C-N’s website and hometown newspapers across the country to note students’ diligent efforts and well deserved accolades. Press releases are typically provided to papers in the student’s zip code of home address within eight weeks of the semester’s conclusion.
