If you are an RN who is seeking a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Carson-Newman can make your dreams come true. After completion of the prerequisites to nursing and two professional nursing courses, you can earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing in as little as one year of full-time study. Part-time study is also available.

Career Mobility Plan

Under the Carson-Newman Career Mobility Plan, registered nurses may receive 30 semester hours of nursing credit for previous nursing experience if they:

• hold a current unencumbered registered nurse license in Tennessee
• have been active in clinical practice during the last three years (or graduated from a nursing program within the last year)
• earned a grade of C or better in their previous nursing courses
• have completed 12 semester hours in nursing course work at Carson-Newman
