* All post-master's students are required to complete a minimum of 120 clock hours of supervised clinical practice as part of their program.

Nursing education practicums includes a seminar.

Please note: All students admitted into the Graduate Studies of Nursing Program who are actively pursuing coursework, either degree seeking or certificate seeking, will be given priority over new admissions or inactive students for placement into clinical courses. If there is no room in the program to allow the student to complete the program within the time allotted, then the applicant is not accepted. Tuition and fees for the graduate program in nursing will be the same for all students. The student must complete the certificate program within (5) years from time of admission to Carson-Newman College.
