To apply, you must submit an C-N admissions application and a BSN program application:

With the New Accelerated Nursing Program, you can be an RN with a BSN degree in as few as 5 semesters. Classroom experiences are on the Carson-Newman Jefferson City campus and clinical experiences are at a variety of area hospitals and other health care facilities in both rural and urban settings. Accelerated students have the same number of classroom and clinical hours as students in the traditional program.

What are the benefits of this program?

Preparing students for a rewarding and challenging career in the nursing profession as well as potential for increased salary and job security.

Will I receive credit for college courses I have already completed?

Yes, you will receive credit for prerequisite and general education courses that you have successfully completed at an accredited institution.

How long will it take to complete the program?

Depending on the number of general education courses you have completed, you may be able to finish in less than 2 years.

Is this program nationally accredited?

Yes, we are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 531, Washington, DC 20036-1120. Phone (202) 887-8476 and approved by the TN State Board of Nursing.

Can I continue to work?

Yes, classes are scheduled in the evening with flexible scheduling of clinical experiences.
