Baptist Builders recognized by College for their contributions to school

« Back to Newsroom

Carson-Newman honored “Baptist Builders”, members of a Tennessee Baptist volunteer construction ministry, this past Saturday.  It was a day of recognition and appreciation, which included a barbeque lunch and a ceremony on the field during the football pregame activities.   Over the past three summers they have donated 300,000 hours of labor in projects designed to enhance the quality of life for students and the overall beauty of the campus. The value of their service to date is over a half million dollars.  Coordinated by George and Margaret Bradley, and Everett and Joyce Willis, volunteers from nearly 100 Baptist churches have given generously of their time and talents to Carson-Newman.
