Education Generalist in Teacher Education and Graduate Studies in Education
The School of Education at Carson-Newman College invites applications for a tenure track full-time position at the assistant or associate professor rank in education in the Teacher Education and Graduate Studies in Education Departments.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a commitment to the Christian mission of the college, Pre-K-12 teaching experience; and a doctorate in education, with preference given to those who have the experience and course work to teach elementary and secondary methods courses, particularly in the area of mathematics.
Responsibilities
Viable candidates for the position will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to help prepare both undergraduate and graduate students in K-12 licensure areas. Candidates normally will be expected to teach a 12-hour load as well as to advise undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate should also demonstrate a record of or willingness to engage in scholarly research.
Salary and Benefits
