Dual Degree Course of Study

DUAL DEGREE (MASTERS AND SPECIALIST) IN SCHOOL COUNSELING AND
CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING COURSE OF STUDY

The MSC/Ed.S. Dual Degree Program is designed for students who want to complete the degree requirements for both MSC requirements for Counseling Professional School Counseling and for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Through this program option, students are allowed to move from one concentration in the MSC to the other concentration for the Ed.S. and receive both degrees ONLY at the completion of the Ed.S. degree concentration. The Master of Science in Counseling would not be awarded until the completion of the Ed.S. degree. Upon receipt of the Ed.S. degree, students would have met all requirements for both specialty areas (Professional School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling).
