Dual Degree Program: Masters and Specialist

GRADUATE STUDIES IN COUNSELING
Dual Degree Program
Master of Science in Counseling/Educational Specialist Degrees

Graduate Studies in Counseling program at Carson-Newman is honored to offer students the opportunity to earn two degrees toward licensure in two fields of counseling: Professional School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

This program is designed for students who want to complete degree requirements for both the Master of Science in Counseling School Counseling Track and the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track.

Through this program students are allowed to move from one concentration in the MSC to the other concentration and receive both a MSC degree and an Ed.S. degree.  Both areas of concentration are completed and both degrees are awarded at the same time.  This dual degree option requires that the coursework for both degrees be completed at Carson-Newman. The concentration areas may be taken in either order.
