Educational Specialist (Ed.S.)

Carson-Newman University has been offering master’s degree programs in education since 1987 and now has been approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to offer counseling programs through Educational Specialist degrees, beginning in Fall 2013. The following counseling programs have been approved:

Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), which requires 36 hours beyond the master’s degree, with the following concentrations:

  • School Counseling Concentration (Hybrid)
  • Mental Health Counseling Concentration (Hybrid)
