Managing the Holiday Stress
7:00 PM – 8:15 PM on Nov 14, 2013
Where: Ted Russell Hall, Room 151
Although the holidays are supposed to be times of joy, they can turn in to some of the most stressful times of the year. Using the Triangle of Choice, participants will learn how to use this simple approach to manage stress, increase peace, and avoid the dangers of stress to our health and immune system. The Triangle of Choice, based on William Glasser's Choice Theory, will also be applied to the difficult symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Personal examples of how military personnel have successfully used the ideas to deal with PTSD will be discussed.
